Another scientific study found a higher rate of thyroid cancer associated with these types of medications.

A study involving the diabetic drug Avandia demonstrated a possible link between Avandia and heart and lung problems. In fact, some medical professionals have voiced their concern and recommended that the product be removed from the market. Another diabetic drug, Lantus, has also raised concerns about a link between Lantus and a greater risk of cancer.
